About Founder

Vidushi Smt. Deepa Bhat, BE (E&E), MCA(IGNOU), MFA(Bharatanatyam) is an exceptional Bharatanatyam dancer, teacher and choreographer. She began her formal training in Bharatanatyam under the able guidance of Guru Vandya Srinath of Bhramara School of Performing Arts, Bengaluru.

About Us

Nrithya Kuteera, a Dance & Music School, was established on June 25, 2004 in Navodaya Nagara, in Chamarajpete Branch on May 1, 2006 and in AGS Layout on June 10, 2015 with the primary purpose of teaching interested students the pure traditional dance form of Kalakshetra style. Over 200 students are now practicing Bharatanatyam under Guru Vid. Deepa Bhat.

Our Mission

At Nrithya Kuteera, we aim to instill the real ideals of the Guru-Shishya Parampara, in which the Guru and Shishya both devote themselves to the cause, and the connection which lasts for decades, if not a lifetime!

I came to know about Deepa Mam through her YouTube channel. I liked her style of elucidating exercises and she dances elegantly which made me to join her dance class. When you start learning something you should know where your lacking or going wrong to improve your self. Mam does help. She rectifies the postures and guides in right way. Happy to be part of her dance class.

She spends a lot of time correcting our postures and styling at a very detailed and minute level. The vast knowledge she possesses about the art form is just incredible.
