Lockdown dairies

Everyone's life took a hit and went haywire during the Pandemic. It also pulled brakes on the dance courses that were held regularly. Guru Deepa Bhat introduced online classes to keep the classes going.


Everyone understands how difficult it is to teach children online. As a result, she came up with innovative ideas to upkeep the excitement. We are ever grateful to our Corona Warriors. Guru Deepa Bhat looked for a song that was an appropriate homage to the warriors and gave a little dance assignment to small portions of these songs, which she then spun out beautifully with her creativity.


The end product was a ravishing video which was incredibly moving. This was just the opening. Many of these choreographies surfaced, encompassing all of Nrithya Kuteera's batches.


She also offered quizzes and seminars in batches to make the online classes engaging. This was a delightful event, and all along, kids enhanced their knowledge and skills. Students were even taught how to take tests online.

Another notable event was the talent show wherein dance competitions were held across different levels, with the winners being awarded cash prizes.

The distinguished part of this event was that the student chose the song, choreographed it subject to their caliber, and presented it beautifully.


The institution's activities were not put to an end due to the transition to an online mode of teaching. It was the best illustration of "When life gives you lemons, make a lemonade."
